Reply Chris on July 30, 2013 at 4:07 pm Vote for Womans Rant. That being said… I don’t feel like either are ‘radio friendly’ due to what is being played today unfortunately. Reply Shari black on July 30, 2013 at 5:32 pm Both great songs! Hard to pick….hope they both make The record but my vote is for peace sign! Reply Rebecca Martin on July 30, 2013 at 8:55 pm I pick Peace Sign. Reply Melanie P on July 30, 2013 at 10:31 pm So happy to hear your new songs. Love them both. Long time fan since I was 15! Your a hard working woman taking good care of her momma! You rock! Reply Sandy Holcomb on July 30, 2013 at 10:50 pm Today these two songs are a home run!! Peace sign wins Reply Joel Cencius on July 30, 2013 at 10:59 pm Tough call Jo Dee!! I think they would both do well at radio and they are “Jo Dee” signature songs…but going to have to go with Woman’s Rant…I think that one will be a good first pick and then Peace Sign can follow it up 🙂 Reply Diane Beebe on July 30, 2013 at 11:03 pm I like both ….but at the moment the Woman’s rant hits home. Have loved Jo Dee since she started in Ashland Ma. at Jim 10 / Kemo Sabe ‘s. I used to tell her ALL the time she would make it Big ! Reply Ted Bazarnik on July 30, 2013 at 11:17 pm Womans Rant is my pick ! It is Jo Dee all the way : ) Reply Lisa Burnside on July 30, 2013 at 11:24 pm Tough decision… really tough… but I think I’m going to go with Peace Sign. A fun song! Reply Cindi Payne on July 30, 2013 at 11:44 pm I saw you perform “Womans Rant” at the Alaska State Fair and I have been waiting patiently for it to hit the airwaves. I love the content and I love how catchy it is!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE that song! Keep em’ coming! Reply Kate on July 31, 2013 at 12:10 am Love the idea and lyrics of Peace Sign. A twisted twist. For me, more uptempo would make it a single. So, I have to go with A Woman’s Rant even though I am not sure about the title. Both are fun to listen to and sing along. Reply Wendy on July 31, 2013 at 12:13 am Love both, but Woman’s Rant is representative of what you have been going through lately… What a lot of women go through.. Nice to hear hear it and relate to it … Know you are not alone… We as women are not alone : so many feel the same way and don’t say it, or stop to realize it and say “Wait, what about me?”! Love it Jo Dee! From a fellow Hollistonian!!! Reply Becky Williams on July 31, 2013 at 12:22 am I really love both songs, but I absolutely love Peace Sign! Reply Judy Starcher on July 31, 2013 at 11:47 am like them both but identify more with Womans’ Rant…. Reply Frank Larry on July 31, 2013 at 12:14 pm Wow! So happy to have you back on the radio with new songs!! I really like both songs, but I think your voice is best represented by the Woman’s Rant! Uptempo will get the radio programmers to pay closer attention to your sound. I am a co-founder of a publishing company on Music Row and would be glad to pitch you some additional hits!! Mark me down as one of your biggest fans please :). Frank Larry Reply susie williams on July 31, 2013 at 12:21 pm like Woman’s Rant. Be good to dance to. Thanks Jo Dee, always loved your songs. Reply Andrea Bouchard on July 31, 2013 at 2:15 pm <3 them both, but chose 'Peace Sign'…… 😀 Reply Carolyn Jennings on July 31, 2013 at 3:01 pm like them both Reply Laura Green on July 31, 2013 at 3:26 pm love it Reply Kim Harrison on July 31, 2013 at 3:35 pm I heard you sing them both in Biloxi and I love them both!!! Reply Sally Clausen on July 31, 2013 at 3:40 pm I of course love them both, but think I am going to pick Peace Sign. I have heard Woman’s Rant live already. LOVE IT! But I think Peace sign will relate to more people and for your first single you need to get out there and do that sort of thing. Woman’s Rant is so much a you song. Gosh it is so good. Love hearing you sing a song filled with all of you. #SOEXCITED! Reply E Dowdy on July 31, 2013 at 4:02 pm Oh Womans Rant AMEN!!!!!!! Both GREAT songs but oh wow today is my womans rant for sure!! Reply Heather Carlson on July 31, 2013 at 6:41 pm Both of these songs are great. I saw you perform them at Indian Ranch, when you came home for a show, and they are fantastic live! I picked “Peace Sign” because it makes me smile and laugh. Thats what music is all about for me. Reply Randy on July 31, 2013 at 6:49 pm What a great song….this could be her comeback single…can’t wait to hear the whole album. Love you JoDee…:-) Reply William Mullis on July 31, 2013 at 11:27 pm both are great singles, and it’s hard to pick the one as the first single, but i guess i would have to pick “Peace Sign” as the first single 🙂 Reply Jody on August 1, 2013 at 4:20 am A woman’s rant seems to be very catchy! I like the music behind the words! Reply Mary Herring on August 1, 2013 at 4:49 am Womans Rant has the knack to catch on quick. Its catchy, fun, fast, and easy to remember. Grown woman identify with this song. Peace Sign is a fine song but I think only the really young people are gonna fall for it. I think the young will support you no matter what you release BUT the grown ups and older folks will like Woman’s Rant because they can identify more with it and let’s face it, they have the dough!!! Buying CD’s is what helps you keep on keeping on, right? You can’t go wrong with Woman’s Rant. Reply Jackie white on August 1, 2013 at 5:41 am Love both songs, but was hoping the single would be Me. That song is unforgettable. Reply Brian on August 1, 2013 at 9:14 am I like “Peace Sign” more but I don’t know that it would be embraced by radio as it is discussing sticking up your middle finger. I know that “Redneck Crazy” is doing well but I think that country radio programmers might be hesitant to play “Peace Sign”. Also, country radio is directed at the female demographic in terms of marketing so “Women’s Rant” is probably a better choice on that front. Reply Maryann on August 1, 2013 at 1:27 pm “One Finger shy of a PEACE sign” is my new motto;)I love it!!! Reply Rhonda Coughlin on August 1, 2013 at 7:06 pm ” A Woman’s Rant ” that’s where I”m at most of the time Reply Kimberly on August 2, 2013 at 12:13 am I love both songs, but holy cow “woman’s rant” is a rockin song. We heard it for the first time when you sang up here in Alaska and I’ve been looking forward to it ever since:-) Reply Jacycle Combs on August 2, 2013 at 10:11 am I like Woman’s Rant.for single Reply Jen on August 3, 2013 at 2:34 pm Peace Sign! You put the FU in FUN! Reply Brittany Smith on August 3, 2013 at 6:35 pm Every since I heard this song in August of last year I’ve been trying to find this song everywhere. Please make this a single so I can find it and listen to it all the time. Thanks:) Reply Tania on August 3, 2013 at 11:01 pm Woman’s Rant is a def. Jo Dee needs a come back song and this would be a great fit!! Reply Baileigh on August 3, 2013 at 11:04 pm Heard Woman’s Rant at last year’s CMA Fest. I fell in love and have looked everywhere for it! So, it’s obvious where my vote is going! But I really think I’m Not Dead Yet should be a choice. Lol, cause that is the GREAT one. Reply Debbi on August 4, 2013 at 4:19 am I love Womans Rant and Peace Sign… they are both wonderful and it sure is good to hear you sing again. My first choice will be Womans Rant! Love it! Reply Kevin Steverson on August 4, 2013 at 8:56 am Peace sign will fly right up the charts….without a doubt… Reply Russell Hansen on August 4, 2013 at 9:49 am I really like both songs but went with women’s rant. Maybe we should really go outside the box and release both songs at same time. Reply Lisa DeRose on August 5, 2013 at 7:23 pm Loved both songs but I’m going with “Woman’s Rant” : ) Reply Angela Daut on August 6, 2013 at 3:55 pm I love both, but woman’s rant is probably my favorite because I can so relate being a single mom! Love you JoDee Reply Alan DuPriest on August 7, 2013 at 9:32 am As a country radio programmer I would go with “Womans Rant”. We (radio) need some good banjo, dobro and acoustic guitar pickin’. I fear the (rap) direction current country is going…but them I’m old (lol)! Reply LeenieKay on August 7, 2013 at 3:36 pm I do like them both…but Peace Sign I think wins my vote. “You put the FU in fun” “One finger shy of the Peace Sign”…LOVE IT!!! 🙂 Reply Jodi Z on August 7, 2013 at 7:50 pm Having just heard both songs in full at your concert tonight it is a very tough choice but I voted for A Woman’s Rant. Both awesome songs, entire concert was incredible. She is an amazing woman. Her mom is sick and has two little ones and still found time to share her talent with Long Islanders suffering from Super Storm Sandy. God bless her and her family. Reply Tinamarie Schlobohm on August 7, 2013 at 10:50 pm My husband and I saw you tonight in Tanner park Copiague long island. We heard both songs live. I have to aay they were both wonderful but Womans rant is right on cue. You are very down to earth even though your a red sox fan (ps it doesn’t bother me… I’m a met fan.) You were a wonderful delight and I hope to see yoh preform again soon! Reply Joyce Snodgrass on August 8, 2013 at 6:50 am It was hard to choose one. Reply Jen Garton on August 8, 2013 at 10:02 am Jo Dee! I love both songs. Honestly I don’t care which one is voted as your first single. I am just so excited there is a new album coming out. You are my absolute favorite. I CANNOT WAIT! You go girl! Reply Lina on August 8, 2013 at 5:10 pm Wow tough choice but had to go with “Womans Rant” Love the energy and this is a great anthem for women. Reply Denise on August 8, 2013 at 5:37 pm Such a tough decision because both songs are awesome! Both are going to be a hit (as well as the entire record). Reply charlotte on August 8, 2013 at 7:48 pm I love them both but I would choose Woman’s Rant Reply Angie on August 9, 2013 at 6:12 am Both are good ways to kick off the album! Peace Sign is surprisingly daring and sassy, Woman’s rant is one of those songs where (we) ladies nod & smile knowingly all while bopping our heads along to the beat 🙂 My vote is for Peace Sign though, I think that would also reach the larger audience (including the guys) and someone the Womans Rant one reminds me of a Dixie Chicks tune (I caught myself almost singing “Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition” at one point) Hard to tell which one will stay the longest on the charts …. here’s hoping they both do well! cheers! Oh and it’s pouring rain right now an hour south of Leroy NY where JDM is playing tonight but WHO CARES that’s why there are PONCHOS lol 😉 Reply Diane Card on August 10, 2013 at 10:51 am Hi Jo Dee, I saw you last night in Leroy, NY @Frostridge Campground and you are awesome!! Really enjoyed your show and both songs were great. Continue the great work and special prayers for your Mom & your children:) keep it real!!! Reply Susie Kerney on August 12, 2013 at 4:29 am Women can relate to both of these songs, but I think the Peace Sign emblem on your guitar strap is a “sign” of your new single! Good luck on your new album….you’re looking great!!!! Reply Kristi on August 12, 2013 at 5:43 am Peace sign rocks!! Like womans rant but sounds like every other song on the radio. Peace sign is unique!!! Reply malinda on August 12, 2013 at 9:16 am Peace sign! Great music and I can see on radio playlists. Then the one two punch with woman’s rant as followup. Jo Dee, Peace Sign…puts you back in radio. Great message…a woman still filled with love. Lots of Love! Reply Alyssa Revels on August 12, 2013 at 9:19 am This was hard both songs are FANTASTIC!! But I have to say Woman Rant because I loved the beat. But I do believe that both songs will be big hits! Reply malinda on August 12, 2013 at 9:20 am Woman’s rant…in many radio stations may be leery of title. Maybe change the title..example…Why..Why..Why Reply Mary Cook McKenna on August 12, 2013 at 10:40 am Love both songs, but definitely have to go with Woman’s Rant! I think it will make her sales go through the roof because of how people will connect with it and want to buy “our CD”. Great job, JoDee!!! Reply Mike in Mechanicsburg, PA on August 12, 2013 at 5:23 pm After hearing live versions of both songs yesterday, I have to go with a Woman’s Rant. Yes, I’m a guy and I have been on the receiving end a time or two, but I like what I like. Peace and hugs from PA Reply Cheryl on August 15, 2013 at 4:11 pm We saw you in LeRoy, NY. Reply M Ragar on September 2, 2013 at 10:53 am I have been impatiently waiting for the release of your “Woman’s Rant” song ever since I first had the privilege to hear it on the morning show in late 2012! It is a great song, (a song MANY women can relate to), extremely catchy and I believe (in my humble opinion) would become an instant HIT! I hope with all my heart that you’ll consider releasing it very, very soon because I can hardly wait for it anymore! Would love nothing more than to be able to buy and own that song!
