Tennessean Blogger, Country music star Jo Dee Messina sorted food alongside 40 less-famous volunteers on Wednesday to kick off this year’s Make a Difference Day event.

For more than two decades, volunteers from across the nation have been joining together on the fourth Saturday in October to participate in Make a Difference Day in their communities. Messina and employees of The Tennessean prepared food bags at Second Harvest Food Bank as a preliminary activity to the big day. Read More at
