Jo Dee Messina performed a full set at the City of Houston’s official Fourth of July celebration, Shell Freedom Over Texas on Thursday. Performing her biggest hits, fan favorites and some All-American cover songs, the country music icon captivated the audience prior to the largest land-based Fourth of July fireworks celebration in the nation. Also joining the celebration lineup was multi-platinum recording artist Russell Dickerson and Chapel Hart.

Following the performance, Jo Dee and her acclaimed band started their over 1,400 mile trek to Petoskey, Michigan to continue the Heads Carolina, Tails California 2 Tour.
