JO DEE MESSINA TAKES CUES FROM LORETTA LYNN

Jo Dee Messina has always looked up to country heroes such as Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire and the Judds, and the singer says she virtually modeled her entire career after one of her biggest influences, the Coal Miner's Daughter, Loretta Lynn. Jo Dee admits she always made radio a priority throughout her career like Loretta, a situation that has only recently has changed for her.
"When I had my first single out, I went from radio station to radio station to radio station," Jo Dee tells the Hellenic News.
JO DEE MESSINA PLANS THREE UNMISTAKABLE EPS IN 2010

Jo Dee Messina plans to release three EPs in 2010, with the first one scheduled for April 27 on Curb Records. Unmistakable: Love will offer seven new songs as well as live acoustic cuts of "Because You Love Me" and "Stand Beside Me." Unmistakable: Drive and Unmistakable: Inspiration are expected later in the year. Messina's previous album, Delicious Surprise, was released in April 2005. On Wednesday, March 17th, 2010, country music sensation Jo Dee Messina took the stage at Feinstein's at Loews Regency Hotel. The Loews Regency Hotel, located in 540 Park Avenue, is one of New York's finest and most luxurious hotels. Jo Dee Messina will be performing at Feinstein's at Loews Regency Hotel from March 16th until March 20th 2010. Her talented three-piece band includes Rick Taylor, Robbie Vaughn and Brent Rader.
Messina's opening song was "Heads Carolina, Tails California," her debut hit from 1996, which peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot Country Charts. She immediately continued with "I'm Alright," a chart-topping hit and title track of her second studio album in 1998, which was well-received by the audience at Feinstein's.

Jo Dee Messina is gearing up for her own 'Unmistakable' triple play! The singer is releasing a trio of recordings this year, marking her first new music in six years.
The first recording, 'Unmistakable: Love' is a nine-track disc that includes seven new songs and two live acoustic cuts. The collection, out April 27, is available for pre-order at Jo Dee's website.
