JO DEE MESSINA SHARES TENDER MOMENT
Jul 28, 2009 | In news
On a recent trip to Canada, we had taken a day off in Jasper. I took my son for a walk and was moved by the Mountains and crystal clear waters, it was so breathtaking. I told my son, "look Noah, That's God" My Keyboard Player Brent Rader heard this story and said "that's it! Thats the song we need to write".
It came so easy. The hardest part, was eliminating verses because God is so many things. He is everything. We finally focused on what we felt to be the most imprtant to us at the time and wrote this song.
Because I am not allowed to post songs with my vocal, the person you hear singing it is Brent. It's a piano Demo that is so simple, yet, so beautiful. I had to share it.
Thanks for listening to my music. Love JoDee

When Jo Dee Messina, the first non-Canadian act to hit the stage at this year’s festival, is congratulated on being a mother, she laughs.
“I don’t think of myself as a mom yet. It’s only been five months.”
But when she’s asked later what advice she would give for combining motherhood and a singing career, it’s clear she has put a lot of thought into it.
“Family has to come first. I’ve refused a couple of gigs recently because I don’t want him to fly for his first year.” more! Want to see JDM in your area click here!
