Jo Dee To Help Prepare Athletes for the 2007 Special Olympic World Summer Games July 5, 2007
July 5, 2007 - Country superstar Jo Dee Messina, who has been an ambassador for the Special Olympics for about three years, jumped at the chance to help prepare the athletes for the 2007 Special Olympic World Summer Games in Shanghai, China during the Team USA Training Camp at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Jo Dee will kick off the training camp July 12th with a concert for the 580 athletes, coaches, and volunteers involved with the training camp.

Local country music fans knew they would be in for a big treat on Sunday, June 24, as multi-platinum recording artist Jo Dee Messina was in town for an autograph-signing and personal appearance at the newly opened UFood Grill.
The restaurant and outside areas were standing-room only as Messina arrived in a big, black SUV and was greeted by hundreds of Southwest Florida's country music fans. Eager folks of all ages patiently waited in the heat as they struggled to see the entertainer, get their pictures taken with her and have their CDs autographed.

NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 19-- Curb Records is set to release the soundtrack for the Universal Pictures summer blockbuster "Evan Almighty."

COUNTRY SUPERSTAR JO DEE MESSINA WOWS CROWD DURING PRESIDENT’S DINNER

June 14, 2007 – Multi-platinum recording artist Jo Dee Messina was scheduled to perform the National Anthem and a forty five minute show at the 2007 President’s Dinner last night in Washington D.C.. However, at the last minute, Jo Dee volunteered to perform an additional hour long set at the beginning of the event to fill in for an ailing Trace Adkins.
Jo Dee welcomed the roughly 5,000 attendees to the event with a performance of her hits and then was whisked away to meet the President.
