AT THE 21st NATIONAL DISABLED VETERANS WINTER SPORTS CLINIC

Multi-platinum recording artist Jo Dee Messina is set to participate in the 21st National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic in Snowmass Village, Colorado. The week long event, which will kick off April 1st, will be highlighted by Jo Dee’s performance Thursday, April 5th at the Snowmass Convention Center, where she will perform some of her greatest hits as well as songs off her latest Gold album Delicious Surprise. Jo Dee will be on hand for a few days to help out with the clinic.

“During my USO tour in Italy a base commander told me about this clinic and I knew instantly that I wanted to help out any way that I could,” said Jo Dee. “I think it’s amazing that these soldiers do not allow their injuries to slow them down but instead continue to display courage and face challenges by participating in this clinic.”

The 21st National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic focuses on teaching adaptive skiing on the Rocky Mountains to approximately 400 disabled veterans. The Clinic offers disabled veterans the opportunity to participate in various activities as well, such as snowmobiling, sled hockey, and scuba diving. The week will be wrapped up by a closing ceremony that will show video highlights from the week.
