The two-hour special features Manilow performing many hits from his extensive catalog including "Could It Be Magic" and "I Made It Through the Rain." He will perform "Lay Me Down" with Yearwood and a medley of his commercial jingles with Messina. Manilow will also be joined by Welch on a duet of "Sweetwater Jones."

Named the "showman of our generation" by Rolling Stone magazine, Manilow's unparalled career is made up of virtually every facet of music, including performing, composing, arranging and producing. He regularly fills concert halls, breaks records on television, scores for film and writes for the Broadway stage. Manilow, who began his pop music career by writing advertising jingles in the 1960s, is the No. 1 adult contemporary artist of all time, based on charts in the industry trade Radio & Records. He has received Grammy, Emmy and Tony Awards and has been nominated for an Academy Award. Manilow's most recent release, Manilow Sings Sinatra, was nominated for two Grammy awards.

Manilow Country was taped before a live audience on February 15 at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville.
