her love of hockey.
NashvillePredators.com: Growing
up in Boston, when did you first start following hockey?
Jo Dee Messina: Hockey, before I

NOTHIN’ CAN KEEP MESSINA DOWN
|
| |

|
Consider it a gift when an entertainer
gives a little something extra during an interview. That’s what it was
like when country music singer Jo Dee Messina broke into song during
a recent telephone interview from her home in Nashville, Tenn.
Answering a question about vocal exercises, Messina, who performs two
shows at the Wagon Wheel Theatre in Warsaw on Saturday, said the band
always gets together before performing to warm up; otherwise, it’s not
unusual for her to just sing to herself.

JO DEE MESSINA'S 'UNMISTAKABLE' ENTHUSIASM
|
| |

|
By Christina Fuoco-Karasinski
LiveDaily Contributor
Country star Jo Dee Messina has scored nine No. 1 singles; been honored
by The Country Music Association, The Academy of Country Music and The
Grammy Awards; and was the first female country artist to score three
multiple-week No.1 songs from the same album. Despite all that, she's
not resting on her laurels, and instead is looking ahead to her upcoming
release "Unmistakable."
"This album is phenomenal," Messina told LiveDaily after returning from
a vigorous run. "When I turned it in, Curb [Records] said it was the
best album I ever turned in. I was like, 'Woo hoo!'"

JO DEE MESSINA TURNS PERSONAL CORNER
|
| |

|
Jo Dee Messina has generally been
regarded as one of country music's Type-A personalities: driven, energetic
and passionate about her work. But developments in her personal life
have created what she believes is a major change for the better.
Jo Dee went through a very public engagement several years ago that
didn't work out. Eventually, she got engaged again with much less fanfare,
and she got married in October to Chris Deffenbaugh just two weeks after
completing her second marathon.
